All artists: Show some school spirit and enter the Morey Foundation Poster Contest. Information will be in a packet by the Cafeteria and you can get the correct size paper from Mrs.Bleecker. Artwork must be done in Portrait format (tall way). All artwork must be in to the art room by November 23. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Bleecker.
Don`t forget!! Tutors are available for Algebra 1 students after school Monday through Thursday from 3:15-4:30 in the media center. No need to sign up . . . just show up!

Senior class officers and student council reps. Please see Mrs. Marsh some time this week or next to sign up for basketball concessions. We have three dates to cover.
A fundraiser is available for any student to do to earn a FREE yearbook. Sell various food items and for each item sold you can have $2.50 subtracted from the $50 cost of a yearbook. Selling 20 items will earn you a completely free yearbook. This goes until Monday, November 23. See Mrs. Antcliff for the fundraiser forms.
Volleyball players: Our Volleyball banquet is scheduled for Sunday, November 22 at 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. Please bring a table setting and a beverage. Varsity players will bring a main dish to pass; Jv team will bring a side dish to pass and Freshman will bring dessert. Please dress appropriate no jeans, dress for success.
Shepherd Elementary PTO needs the help of High School students willing to participate in the annual Santa`s Secret Shop. The date for the Secret shop take place on Friday, December 4th from 3;00 until 6:30 pm. The shift times will be 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm and 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm. You will be helping little bluejays select their Christmas gifts. A certificate will be given to any student who participated for their portfolio. A sign up sheet is in the office if you are able to help.
If you attended the "Terror on 27" Halloween event during the month of October and lost your camera (pictures of either Pom or Cheer), please call 875-3976.
There will be an Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, November 21 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Shepherd High School gym, 100 Hall Street. There will be holiday items, jewelry, wood crafts, homemade items and much more! There will also be a quilt drawing, 50/50 drawing, crafter donated merchandise and drawings every half hour, and concessions available. This event is sponsored by the After Prom Committee and Business Professionals of America, Shepherd Chapter. Proceeds from this event will help support both of these organizations programs. One hundred percent of the money goes to the programs to benefit the students. The After Prom Committee raises money to provide a safe and fun place for students to go after their Prom in the spring. BPA members raise money to help them attend State and National Competitions. Please come out and have fun while supporting your local students! Reminder to BPA members: Bring your paper product donations to Room 103 by Friday, Nov. 20.
