Athletic Physicals will be held in the evening on June 5th, 6:00-8:00 . We will not be given out numbers. It will be first come, first serve for physicals. Physical cost will be $10.00. Please mark this date in your planner.
Seniors: Please mark the following events in your planners. Senior graduation practice will be held on May 27th at 8:00 am. After graduation practice, you will remain in the HS gym to have a senior spotlight show. The senior class will be providing snacks during this time.
Golfers: Please make a note that we play Hemlock in a makeup meet on May 16th at 2:00. Release times will follow later.
Artists are really needed to help with the VFW Mural. We will be meeting Monday, May 12 at the VFW post at 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 pm. This a community service opportuntiy. You are responsible for your own transportation. If you need directions see Mrs. Bleecker.
Artists past and present, if you are a senior and had an art class this year, please submit your art to the art room for our annual art show. You will need to turn it in no later than May 16 to the art room.
Howdy partners!....Come mosey on down to the BlueJay cafe for our annual hot dog roast (weather permitting) Friday, May 16th. Hot dogs, brats & grilled chicken sandwiches will be served outside so saddle-up and join the fun. Hope to see ya`ll there.
Segment II dates are May 23,27 and the 28. Sign-up sheet is in the office.
Seniors: It`s the end of the school year and each student needs to have their lunch accounts paid in full or have a positive balance. There will be no charging, so bring your money. Any money left in your accounts will be mailed to your parent or guardian if over $5.00 after June 13th. All money $5.00 or less will be refunded to you in your graduation packet. If you have a sibling that you would like your balance to go to, please let Deb Moeggenborg or Annette Meyer know and they will transfer it for you. Thank you.
Attention Seniors: Please remember that you must return all of your books and take care of all library fines in order to receive your diploma. Notices went out last week and will go out again next week. Please see Mrs. Bush or Mrs. Moeggenborg if you have any questions. Thank you!
Congratulations to Jacob Freist for finishing 5th in the state with his Computer Aided Design entry. The Michigan Industrial Technology Education Society competition was held this past weekend at the Lansing Center in Lansing.
Shepherd golfers finished first in the TVC at Swan Valley. For the Jays, Elliott Welters shot 42 followed by Greg Silverthorn was a 43. Brendan McKenna shot 45 and Jordan Moeggenborg a 46. The following golfers are excused at 1:40 today for a match in Bullock Creek: Elliott Welters, Jake Keefer, Brendan McKenna, Jordan Moeggenborg, Lance Maney and Adam Kyser.
The following teams are out at 2:30 today: JV Golf, JV Softball and JV Baseball.
